Rachael has been teaching yoga for over a decade and it has become her life’s work to share its many gifts and benefits with the community. After leaving behind the world of corporate finance, fatigued from cubicle life, she began to design the life she always envisioned. Merging business knowledge with her passion for yoga, she formed Salty Buddha in 2016. Rachael is an E-200Hr RYT yoga teacher and Reiki Master.
Carly Burdick - Studio Manager & Instructor
Carly is a certified Reiki Master and Women’s Guidance Facilitator who is excited to guide you through a transformative session that promotes balance, relaxation, and well-being. With a deep passion and curiosity for energy healing, Carly immersed herself in the ancient practice of Reiki, a transformative modality that channels universal life force energy. As a Reiki Master, her purpose is to facilitate healing on a physical, emotional, and spiritual level. She believes in the innate power within each of us to find balance and harmony, and her classes, workshops, and private sessions are designed to unlock that potential, fostering a profound sense of peace and renewal. Carly teaches a weekly Restorative Yoga w/ Reiki class, monthly Reiki workshops, and Reiki trainings and certifications at Salty Buddha.
Jessica Powers - Studio, Beach & SUP Yoga Instructor
Jessica stumbled upon a Baron Baptiste DVD at a yard sale over a decade ago, and immediately fell in love with the physical practice of yoga. After undergoing a spinal fusion, she had to learn how to slow down and to be more understanding of her body. She brings with her a lighthearted attitude toward yoga. Jessica’s goal is to create a moment in which all bodies will feel comfortable to move and breathe. She enjoys teaching the 8 limbs of yoga through the physical practice, and helping others to find the peaceful power that she has found through her yoga practice. For the past 3 years she has brought yoga and mindfulness into her middle school classroom. Jessica feels that with enough breathing and moving, you can calm anyone.
Tammi McCoy - Studio & Beach Yoga Instructor
Tammi is originally from Kansas City and has made the island her home for the last four years. She began practicing yoga in 2013 loving the fitness aspect focusing on the strength of a power practice in the beginning but realizing that it was the grounding and therapeutic aspects that began to really resonate with her. In 2020 she decided to become a certified yoga teacher through her practice Power Core Yoga. Her dedicated practice informs her beautiful classes weaving a strong practice and nature into each beach class.
Vicki Cusack - Studio Yoga & SUP Yoga Instructor
Vicki is a 200 RYT and certified SUP Yoga Instructor. She grew up in Bradenton, Florida and has been paddling the local waters since high school. Her first yoga experience was at her gym in 2008. Vicki realized then that yoga was more than just fitness. Years later, after having the opportunity to practice with some amazing instructors, she was able to tap into the full mind, body, and soul experience that yoga offers. In May 2024, she completed her 200 hour YTT at InnerSea Yoga Academy in Uvita, Costa Rica. Under Courtney Fletcher and her mind opening team, a welcomed calm and new peace emerged. In the same year she received her SUP Yoga Instructor certification, under Rachael Croll, owner of Salty Buddha Paddle and Yoga Company in Bradenton Beach, Florida. Lo Waite - Studio Yoga Instructor
Lo began practicing yoga over a decade ago as a compliment to her training as a competitive triathlete, duathlete, and long-distance runner. As her practice evolved, she discovered that the mind-body connection through yoga, meditation, and mindfulness brought greater well-being to her life. A compassionate teacher, she strives to create a space for her students to feel free to explore, learn, and meet their practice exactly where they are. She teaches that yoga is for everyone and developing a greater sense of self-awareness provides benefit even off the mat. Experienced in teaching many styles of yoga including Gentle, Restorative, Vinyasa Flow levels 1 and 2, Yin, and Prenatal, she has also helped lead 200 and 300 hour yoga teacher trainings.

Jackie’s long-time passion for yoga led her to complete a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at Thrive Yoga & Fitness in 2019. She strives to create a welcoming space for her students, encouraging them to move and breathe in whichever way feels right for their minds and bodies. By including guided meditation and mindfulness in her classes, she hopes to provide tools to help people navigate life’s challenges. She enjoys teaching Vinyasa, Yin Yoga, and Yoga Nidra.
Jackie has fallen in love with Sound Healing and recently became certified in Integral Sound Healing. She loves using sound to help people sink into a deep state of relaxation and healing.
Lisa Weingartner - Studio Yoga Instructor
Lisa returned to her yoga practice in 2017 after spending several years immersed in high-intensity workouts like kickboxing, spin, and HIIT classes. As a thriving corporate executive with a fast-paced lifestyle, her fitness routines naturally reflected that same intensity. However, her first yoga class in years was a turning point. During the final savasana, she experienced a profound sense of peace and calm—something completely unfamiliar in her daily life. From that moment, Lisa committed herself to yoga, finding it to be the balance she had been missing. Her passion for the practice grew, inspiring her to share its transformative benefits with others. In 2020, Lisa earned her RYT-200 certification and now teaches power vinyasa and yoga nidra. Join her on the mat and experience the journey to balance and serenity!
